Tuning up your company database optimizes your company data to help it run efficiently and without errors in Sage 100 Contractor.
Your database is tuned up automatically during nightly maintenance according to the schedule you specify on the Create Maintenance Schedules or the Modify Maintenance Schedules tab. However, you can also tune up your database on demand from the Tune Up Company Databases tab.
To tune up a company database on demand:
- Click Tune Up / Back Up / Restore > Tune Up Company Databases.
- On the tab to the right, select the company or companies you want to tune up.
- Click [Tune Up Databases].
