Including Account Distributions on Pay Stubs for Direct Deposits

Many employees distribute their pay to more than one personal account—for example, 50% to a checking account and 50% to a holiday savings account. You set up these distributions to up to four accounts for employees on direct deposit in the 5-2-1 Employees window. The distributions to these accounts are processed when you run a final compute and they are printed on the pay stubs.

After you run a final compute, you can view the distributions that will appear on a direct deposit pay stub by selecting the Direct Deposit Net Distribution option in the 5-2-2 Payroll Records window. Selecting this option opens a Direct Deposit Net Pay Distribution window that lists, for each account number, the routing number, rate type, and deposit amount.

In the U.S. Edition, it also displays the account type. If you turned on the Database Security Encryption option for your company in the 7-1 Company Information window, all but the last four digits of account numbers are hidden (the program displays Xs in their place).
