Managing template files

If you need to work with template files directly (for example, to delete or copy existing templates), you do so in Windows Explorer.

Sage 100 Contractor provides an easy way to open the Takeoff Templates folder, as follows:

1. Open the 9-5 Takeoffs window.

2. Click File > Open Templates Folder.

   Windows Explorer opens at the location of your company's Takeoff Templates folder.

3. Use Windows Explorer to perform file manipulations (copy, delete, rename, and so on), as needed.
