About Creating a Backup for Sage Support
If Sage Customer Support needs to examine a copy of your company to help you to resolve a problem with Sage 100 Contractor, they will ask you to create a special backup copy of your company files. This backup is a stripped-down version of your company that does not include sensitive or personal information, and does not include external files, such as attachments.
On the Create Sage Support Backup tab, you select the company whose files you want to send to Sage Support, and then click the [Create Backup] button.
Note: Because this backup is incomplete, you should never use it to restore your company data. For this reason, backups are saved in a separate Support Backups folder and include BackupForSage in the file name.
