Database Capacity Warning Message

If your company data is approaching the maximum capacity of the database, Sage 100 Contractor users see a critical warning advising them to contact their company administrator.

To ensure that you do not run out of space in the database, we recommend that you take one or more of the following actions if you receive this message:

• Archive some of your data to another database.
• In Sage 100 Contractor, remove jobs (using the 3-5 Jobs window), purchase orders (using the 6-6-1 Purchase Orders window), and/or service invoices (using the 11-2 Work Orders/Invoices/Creditswindow).
• Purchase an edition of Microsoft SQL Server other than Microsoft SQL Express.
• Purge History tables or reduce the period of time to keep history tables (only if necessary!).
